Do you see lines/wrinkles when you smile, share a surprised face, or when you are giving that WTF look? It’s time for some tox!
I need Botox/Dysport?
Wrinkles are like the hiccups—annoying and kind of inevitable. But unlike hiccups, which can be could be cured with a teaspoon of sugar (true!), wrinkles don’t just go away.
From ages 21 to 71, if you have fine lines and wrinkles, you can benefit from Botox/Dysport!
How much will I need?
Botox and Dysport is measured by the unit. A unit is simply the measurement used to determine the amount of Botox given.
Each vial of Botox usually contains 100 units. A typical Botox treatment for the face is 50 to 60 units. Don’t worry, 50 units doesn’t mean 50 injections.
The most common areas treated are crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead. These areas combined usually need 50 to 60 units.
What’s the difference between Botox and Dypsort?
We always say it’s similar to the difference between Pepsi and Coke. Dysport is priced at $1.99 a unit (for members) and Botox is $7.99 a unit (for members). You’ll need three times the amount of Dysport to equal the same amount of Botox. This means one unit of Botox is equal to three units of Dysport.
These two products do the same thing, just different brands!
Is it safe?
Botox and Dysport are the safest treatments available! After the injection moves from the dermis and into the desired muscle, the nerves there are blocked by the tox. So even though your brain may fire and signal for your body to move a particular muscle, Botox/Dysport effectively blocks that firing and keeps the muscle from moving. The injected muscle can no longer contract, which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften, and also helps prevent new ones from forming.
